Client: McLean Hospital
Project: Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program Brochure

Problem: McLean Hospital had to promote their Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Program against increasing competition. They are the premiere research facility in the country in this field but are also more expensive and suffer from an elitist image. They wanted to promote the continuum of care available at the hospital from full in-patient services to a "halfway" house to outpatient services.

Solution: Keeping in mind the target audience of referring professionals, potential patients and third party payors, we incorporated a feeling of warmth and approachability in color, paper, graphics, photography and first person case histories of former patients and family members. The continuum of care is symbolized by the three buildings on the front cover and repeated throughout the brochure.
